ReIgnite Hope, formerly known as Wheels of Hope, is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing lives here in Los Angeles and saving lives in Africa.

About ReIgnite Hope

The U.S. Department of Labor estimates a welder shortage of at least 250,000 nationwide, while the homeless population in LA jumped 12% in the last two years, driven partly by high unemployment. The number of tents and makeshift encampments occupied by homeless people soared by 85%.

The ReIgnite Hope job training program is provided FREE to the students. More than 300 men and women have completed their training, all have been certified by the American Welding Society and 90% of the graduates are now employed!

Students can build bicycle-drawn ambulances which are then distributed in Africa through our partnership with Zambikes, an organization dedicated to saving lives in Africa by connecting remote villages to critical treatment through transportation.

“Changing Lives Here, Saving Lives There.”
